Discover the beauty of light and color in this hands-on stained glass class led by Shard Glass Studio’s Lauren DelSignore Over three creative hours, you’ll learn foundational stained glass techniques and walk away with your own finished piece to display or gift.

What:
This is a beginner-friendly, immersive workshop where all materials are provided. You’ll learn the steps that required to create a stained glass piece. At the end of class, you will go home with a a small but stunning finished piece of art.

How:
Shard Glass Studio provides all the tools, glass, and supplies you’ll need. Instruction will demonstrate essential techniques like pattern transfer, cutting, and foiling. You’ll then use pre-shaped materials to create. your own stained glass piece. We HOPE that you’ll want to dive deeper into this time-honored tradition, and visit Lauren at her West Warwick studio.

Items to bring:
Yourself and your creativity— everything else is provided, but please wear protective clothing. We are working with glass and hot metal, so long sleeves, long pants, and if you have favorite heat-safe work gloves or eye protection, bring them along.

Light refreshments will be served. Spaces are limited, so registration is required.
